Splendid colour, quite vigorous. I have a young 5 foot high specimen in Portland, UK, and it has withstood severe gales, and salt winds very well indeed. It is in full sun, and despite being planted as a bare root last spring, settled in quickly and produced about 14 inches 35 cm of growth last summer.
