Dark dramatic foliage contrasts boldly with its own golden flowers or light value companions. Features a sculptural mound of chocolate maroon rounded leaves. Welcome late summer blossom spikes feature dozens of yellow-orange daisies.

Moderate growth 3 to 4 ft. tall and 2 to 3 ft. wide.
Use/Application:
Very Wet Areas, Water Garden. A natural for all beds and borders for contrast with green and lime foliage plants. Best appreciated at close range. Exceptional in containers. Herbaceous perennial. Full sun to partial shade. Moderate growth 3 to 4 feet tall and 2 to 3 feet wide.
Care/Maintenance:
Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. For a neat appearance, remove old foliage before new leaves emerge. Divide clumps every 2 to 3 years in early spring.
