A glow-in-the-dark selection, this Geum is mainly grown for the wonderful low mound of golden-chartreuse leaves. Wiry stems rise taller with a somewhat shy display of bright orange blooms in late spring and summer.
Single, overlapping, orange petals with orange-yellow stamens Upward-facing flowers are held on yellow stems Grown for its foliage; not a prolific bloomer Oval, rough-textured, golden foliage Bloom Time: May to June
Grows best in an average to moist, well-drained soil, in full sun or partial shade. Avoid wet, soil conditions in the winter. Prune spent flowers to tidy its overall appearance but is not necessary for extending the bloom time.
