Medium to large fruit with a flat bottom (tomato like) and light orange flesh. A crisp texture that makes it good for slicing. Sweet fruit with no bitterness even when it's not fully ripe. Self fertile.
The Jiro persimmon has a beautiful deep orange skin that is firm and juicy. Jiro has great flavor and is a high quality fruit. The Jiro persimmon tree grows to 20 feet in height and this EARLY form ripens early - mid October. 2 weeks early than straight Jiro.
A compact grower, and self-fertile. The fruit is round and bright orange, and when fully ripe is just the right about of sweetness.
