Art's Nursery Staff

Art  is a grower. Even as a child he worked with his father in the bulb business. As one of the founders of Vancouver's Art Knapp franchises, Art 'retired' in the mid seventies and started his own small hobby farm to grow roses and nursery stock for the trade. To his surprise, the business grew and grew until it became what we know today as Art's Nursery. Art still actively runs the nursery with his daughter Rebecca and is extremely proud of the rest of his professional staff.

Rebecca , Art's daughter, has been working at the nursery for as long as she can remember. While she studied at SFU to become a school teacher, the family business has turned out to be her vocation. She has worked at the nursery as a full time director/manager for many years and has taken numerous Horticultural courses at Kwantlen University College.

Sandra  is our Manager of Nursery Operations and Wholesale and is our most senior, most experienced Horticulturalist.

Lynn is the Store Manager and is an experienced Horticulturist in her own right. She offers a wealth of knowledge about perennials and many other facets of the gardening.

Angel  is a graduate of the Horticultural Design program at Kwantlen College. She is fluent in Chinese and Taiwanese and has a great knowledge of plant identification, garden design, plant health and disease and more. She is also a qualified pesticide dispenser. Angel is our Senior Landscape Designer and is a wonderful resource if you need help planning your garden.

Dale , our Senior Florist, has over 50 years of experience in the floral industry. Whether you need a single rose or a complete wedding package, Dale's experience and talent is second to none.

Chhindha  has worked with the Arts Nursery team since 1985. His work ethic, leadership and knowledge have earned him the well deserved title of Growing Foreman. Chhindha and his hardworking team are the ones responsible for our great quality and incredible selection of plants.
