Dressing Your Porch For Christmas

Step by step tutorial, how to decorate for Christmas

Dressing Your Porch For Christmas

We’re in December and it’s a lovely time to be welcomed by a cheerful and festive front door. If your front door needs some TLC we have everything you need for a variety of looks from fresh wreaths and garland to everlasting accents and décor.

Step 1: Take measurements of your space and think of the look you’d like to achieve. Some ideas would be “modern”, “folksy”, “woodsy natural” and “glittery elegance” to name a few.

Step 2: When it comes to garland we have a variety of sizes available for your space’s needs. Garlands can be used as single or cut as desired for a full door frame. In today’s video we used a 16’ and cut it in half to have two 8’.

Step 3: For a natural look we used the deluxe mixed wreath. These wreaths are very easy to customize to suit your décor and style. You can also enjoy the lovely natural green look and leave it as is as well.

Step 4: Now it’s time for your porch pots! You can get them ready made in compostable containers making it very easy to enjoy for the Christmas season, or you can add some lovely fresh greens to your existing pots using our beautiful selections here at our Nursery.

Sept 5: Complete the look with a festive door mat and some lovely décor. Add a little sparkle and glow with lanterns and theme your décor by using pieces that complement each other. In our gift and home wear section we have over a dozen themed styles with various pieces that are grouped together to make it really easy to understand what compliments each other. Or! You can unleash your inner artist and run wild!
