Border, Container, Firescaping/Fire Wise, Woodland Garden. This lovely perennial fits right in to a native, woodland garden setting. Plant in mass or as an edge plant along walkways or patios. Plant alongside silver and gray foliage for a lovely, muted container design. A very versatile plant all around the garden.
Mix with other Heuchera, Hosta, Columbine and Astilbe for a woodland setting with color and texture. Small perennials with silver foliage along with a purple leaf Japanese Maple makes a beautiful Asian inspired container for the patio.
Provide a rich, well-drained soil and water and fertilize regularly throughout the growing season. For a neat appearance, remove old flower stalks. Divide clumps every 2 to 3 years in early spring.
