How to Grow Acorus (Sweet Flag)

Growing Japanese Sweet Flag

Acorus gramineus or Japanese Sweet Flag is a great plant near a water feature or pond or as a ground cover. It prefers full to part sun and moist or boggy conditions. In drier soil, leaf tips may turn brown or wither. A healthy 2-3 inch layer of mulch will help conserve moisture. Feed with a plant food in early spring for great jump start on growth. Deer resistant and resistant to most pests. Hardy in zones 6-10
