We carry eight different types of rock, gravel and sand for your garden or landscape at Art's Nursery. These range from the useful 3/4 crush or round, roadbase, to two sizes of decorative river rock as well as salt and pepper and speckled granite.
Our bulk gravels and rock are sold by the tractor scoop. Each tractor scoop is approximately 50-60% of a yard. Meaning, 2 scoops of these materials will give you about 1.1 to 1.25 yards.

3/4 Round Drain Rock
Smoother and rounder than Crush Gravel, this product is also great for drainage and for decorative applications and walkways.

3/4 Crush Gravel
Attractive and ideal for decorative applications. Crush gravel is great for use as drainage rock or for pathways. Angular rock shapes lock together and form a more compact base.

Large Round Rock
Approximately 6inch or less round rock. Great for decorative applications, dry river beds or water features. Sometimes dusty from the quarry and may require washing for best appearance. Rock size varies greatly from load to load

Small Round Rock
Approximately 1-3 inch round river rock. Great for decorative applications, dry river beds or water features. Can also be used for drainage and pathways. Sometimes variable in size. May come dusty from the quarry and will require washing for best appearance. River rock size varies greatly from load to load

Salt and Pepper Granite

Mini Crushed Gravel
A beautiful multi-coloured, pea-gravel sized angular rock. Excellent for pathways, drainage and rock gardens. Approx 20mm or 3/4 inch average size

Washed Sand
Local sand. Makes an excellent base for stepping stones. Can be used for sandboxes or lawn drainage. Attractive and ready to use.

Roadbase
This combination of loose gravel and sand is ideal for building roads, paths or ground stabilization. Compacts together to form a solid mass.
