We carry three different types of mulches and manure for your garden or landscape at Art's Nursery. These include our ever popular red fir mulch, our aged conditioning mulch and mushroom manure.
Use mulch to reduce weeds, protect plants and moderate soil temperature. Mushroom manure is excellent for rejuvenating tired garden soil and amending your garden beds.

Red Fir Mulch
Like all mulches, Red Fir Mulch keeps roots cool, retains moisture and helps suppress weeds. Its attractive red colour makes it ideal for decorative gardening applications.

Aged Black Mulch
This mulch has a deep auburn-black colour and is great for covering or mixing directly into heavy soils. It also retains moisture, keeps roots cool and helps suppress weeds. High quality aged materials - looks almost like soil when kept moist.

Black Top / OSE (Organic Soil Enhancer)
This material is a combination of 50% mushroom manure and 50% aged black conditioning mulch. Also called OSE or Organic Soil Emhancer. Nicer, lighter and easier to work with than straight mushroom manure. Looks and smells better too!
