‘Hershey’s Red’ is a Hershey hybrid that grows 4 to 6 ft. in height and spread. Its flowers are hose-in-hose (the flowers have 10 to 12 petals and look like one blossom inside another) and are vivid red.
Best grown in acidic, organically rich, humusy, medium moisture, moisture-retentive but well-drained soils in part shade. Prefers a sun dappled or high open shade. Morning sun with afternoon shade is also acceptable. Tolerates a fair amount of sun in cool northern summers,
